Green Valley Ranch Concerts Fall 2026: Two Stages, Two Experiences

September 24, 2026

Ask a Green Valley resident where to catch a show this season and most will say the same three words: Green Valley Ranch. What they usually mean is one place. It isn't.

The resort runs two separate stages, and this fall they are booking two different kinds of nights for two different kinds of listeners. One room seats 2,000 people under lights for stadium-scale headliners. The other sits poolside, smaller, closer, and pulls a different lineup entirely. The event calendar distinguishes the two rooms, though both are part of Green Valley Ranch.

One Address, Two Rooms

The Grand Events Center is the resort's bigger stage, built for stadium-style seating and larger touring acts. The Backyard Amphitheater, at 2300 Paseo Verde Parkway, is the smaller room: an open-air, poolside setup that trades scale for proximity. Green Valley Ranch's own event pages draw the line plainly, describing the choice as either a 2,000-seat stadium-style show or a more intimate set poolside in "The Backyard."

That distinction isn't just architectural. It shows up in who gets booked where, and what you pay to be there.

Grand Events Center Backyard Amphitheater
Format Indoor, stadium-style seating Outdoor, poolside, intimate
Fall 2026 acts Kat Timpf (Sept. 25), Brian Culbertson (Nov. 21) The Band Perry (Sept. 4), Hinder (Oct. 3)
Average ticket price Around $103 Around $72

The pattern holds, though not always in the direction you'd guess. The Grand Events Center's two fall dates are Kat Timpf on September 25 and Brian Culbertson on November 21. Culbertson is a keyboardist and producer with a catalog stretching across nearly thirty albums and forty Billboard number-one singles as a songwriter and producer, the kind of act suited to a room built for a full production. The Backyard, meanwhile, hosted The Band Perry on September 4 and closes its year with Hinder on October 3, whose date was actually moved there from an original April 17 booking that got pushed back on the resort's own schedule. Earlier in the season, the same outdoor room hosted Grace Potter on July 10 and Vertical Horizon with Tonic on August 14, both smaller-footprint bookings that fit the space.

That reschedule is a small detail, but it's a reminder to check the calendar before making plans.

Why the Split Actually Matters If You Live Here

None of this changes whether you go to a show. It changes which show you pick, and what kind of night you're signing up for before you buy a ticket.

A Saturday at the Grand Events Center is a bigger production: assigned stadium seating, a full-scale sound and lighting setup, and a price tag that runs roughly thirty dollars higher on average than a Backyard night. It's the room for an act you want to see at full scale, indoors, with the production values that come with a 2,000-seat house.

The Backyard Amphitheater is a different kind of evening entirely. It's outdoors, it's smaller, and the setting poolside changes the feel of the whole night before the music even starts. It's also, on average, the cheaper ticket. If you're the kind of Green Valley resident who treats a Tuesday night differently than a Friday night out, that gap between roughly $72 and $103 a ticket is worth knowing before you commit a weekend to a show, especially if you're bringing more than one person.

For a quick comparison, the calendar below separates the fall dates by room.

What's Actually on the Calendar This Fall

For residents mapping out the next few months, here's how the two rooms are actually splitting the season:

Grand Events Center

  • Kat Timpf, September 25
  • Brian Culbertson, November 21

Backyard Amphitheater

  • Grace Potter, July 10 (already played, but set the tone for the season)
  • Vertical Horizon with Tonic, August 14 (already played)
  • The Band Perry, September 4 (already played)
  • Hinder, October 3 (rescheduled from an original April 17 date)

If you're the type to plan a night out around who's playing rather than where, this list does the sorting for you. If you're the type who plans around the room itself, the pattern above tells you which stage to keep an eye on for the acts you tend to like.

Reading the Room

One useful detail when planning a night out is the room, since the Backyard offers an outdoor, poolside setting.

The Grand Events Center is the larger indoor venue, with assigned seating. The table above lists the average ticket prices and fall dates for each room.

Knowing which room an act landed in tells you more about the night ahead than the artist's name alone.

Planning the Rest of the Season

With the Hinder show on October 3 and Brian Culbertson closing out the fall run on November 21, the schedule lists upcoming performances in both rooms. These dates do not establish where a future rescheduled show would land.

For residents who've watched this neighborhood grow around the resort for years, the schedule is the kind of detail that doesn't show up in a generic "things to do" roundup. It's the difference between knowing Green Valley Ranch has concerts and knowing how Green Valley Ranch actually runs its concerts.
